What you’ll be doing
Rokadiya Overseas is recruiting an HSE Engineer for a site-based, full-time opportunity in Kuwait City. The role will support the implementation and continuous improvement of health, safety, and environmental systems in line with applicable Kuwait regulations, client requirements, and recognized industry standards.
Key Responsibilities

- Conduct site inspections, safety observations, risk assessments, and job hazard analyses.
- Monitor compliance with approved HSE plans, method statements, permit-to-work procedures, and safe operating practices.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; prepare reports and recommend corrective actions.
- Deliver toolbox talks, safety inductions, emergency drills, and workforce awareness sessions.
- Maintain HSE records, inspection logs, training registers, and performance reports.
- Coordinate with supervisors, contractors, and client representatives to close safety findings promptly.
- Support emergency preparedness, environmental controls, waste management, and continual improvement initiatives.
What we’re looking for
- Strong knowledge of workplace health, safety, and environmental principles, risk assessment, and incident investigation.
- Ability to implement and audit HSE procedures, permit-to-work systems, toolbox talks, and emergency response plans.
- Practical experience conducting site inspections and identifying hazards involving work at height, lifting, equipment, and construction or industrial activities.
- Proficiency in preparing reports, maintaining compliance documentation, and tracking corrective actions.
- Clear communication and training skills for engaging multicultural workforces, contractors, and client teams.
- Working knowledge of applicable Kuwait requirements and recognized standards such as ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 is preferred.
- Competence with Microsoft Office and digital HSE reporting tools.
