About the role

We are looking for entrepreneurial individuals who have the ability to work with very VIP clientele, provide a luxury service and have a passion for luxury product. The VIP Business Development Specialist will focus exclusively on new business opportunities that offers free White Glove Consignment service for the GCC largest marketplace for pre-owned luxury items.


  • Conduct research to develop connections with new consignors and prospecting existing connections. These contacts include and are not limited to, stylists, personal shoppers, boutique owners, sales associates, beauty spas, high end gyms, aesthetic clinics, and wealthy individual consignors.
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing consigners to increase business.
  • Maintain a seamless flow of communication with other departments including merchandising, accounting and customer service.
  • Achieve the monthly targets.
  • Develop and implement action plans to continually increase consignment with The Luxury Closet.
  • Follow up on new business opportunities and set up meetings with consignors in their homes/workplace to procure their luxury merchandise.
  • Prepare contracts and presentations.
  • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives.
  • Creating business development plans.
  • Providing management with feedback and reports.


  • Proven working experience in business development, personal shopping or dealing with VVIP clientele.
  • A strong network of professional or personal contacts in the fashion, hospitality, and luxury industry in GCC.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and spoken and written English and Arabic.
  • Leadership, Luxury Presentation, Entrepreneurship.
  • Time management and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Market and luxury brands knowledge.
  • Strong customer service orientation and communication.
  • Pro-active service delivery attitude, willingness to do whatever is required with a hands-on approach
  • Extremely reliable and trustworthy.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends when needed to accommodate the clients’ request for an appointment.
